What is CEMAT?
The Centro para el Desarrollo de Materiales Avanzados y Nanotecnología (CEMAT), based in Peru, is a leading hub for innovation in materials science and nanotechnology. Established at the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI), CEMAT is dedicated to driving advanced research and practical applications in sectors such as renewable energy, healthcare, and sustainable infrastructure.
CEMAT aims to address critical societal challenges by developing cutting-edge materials and eco-friendly technologies. The center fosters collaboration between academia, industry, and government, promoting knowledge exchange and capacity building in nanotechnology.
